Drywood Termites
Drywood termites (DWT) do not live in the soil as subterranean termites do; instead they form above-ground colonies in the wood they infest. The most telltale sign of Drywood termites is piles of light brown pellets that look like large grains of brown sand. Swarms of insects and the wings they leave behind are also evidence of DWT.
